Conan True coach My volleyball experience spans over 10 years playing at my middle school Holy Spirit, my high school Moreau Catholic, and college at Holy Names University. During my time playing in college I coached a club team, Absolute Volleyball Club, for 1 year. The reason I want to coach is to inspire these players just like many of my coaches inspired me. I want to teach and pass on my knowledge and ultimately watch the players grow as athletes and as adults. |
Daron True coach My name is Daron True and I have played volleyball for over 9 years. I started playing in 7th grade and continued through my 4 years of high school, and after a brief recess I came back to volleyball in college and played another 3 years. Currently I also coach volleyball at Piedmont High School and our varsity team has had tremendous success this season. Volleyball is a wonderful and rewarding sport and I coach because I want young athletes to fall in love with the game like I did, and because nothing beats cultivating young talent. |

Doug Blanchard coach Hello everyone. My name is Doug Blanchard and I am joining the Club VIP team to coach in Livermore. I fell in love with Volleyball while playing at Granada High School - I was actually part of the first men’s team to play at Granada. I moved to San Diego and continued to play in rec leagues, both indoor and sand, as often as possible. Being the father of four daughters that all love to play volleyball (I am very lucky) I have been coaching multiple age groups for the past 6 years. I recently took the coaching job at Joe Michell and love watching players improve throughout the season. My goal is to make sure the kids enjoy learning volleyball skills while setting them up for success when they get to high school tryouts. . |
